Team Super Sen
Team Super Sen are made up of a group of neurodivergent individuals, who have a wealth of knowledge, life and lived experience in all things ND. We are immensely proud of how we pool our skills to not only support families and individuals but also each other. We are all fabulously neurodivergent and we pride ourselves on providing a safe space where we can take off our mask and celebrate our neurodivergent identities. We feel this creates an ethos where individuals can do the same.
Who are we?
Lisa Nicholls
Founding Director
I am diagnosed autistic and ADHD and have autistic and ADHD children/adults. I have worked with families for over 30 years, in different roles and have ran parent and toddler groups, additional needs support groups and have worked for an organisation giving advice for parents regarding SEN. I have a BSc Social work degree and SEND Law Level 3. I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, and ensuring their voices and perspectives are heard.
Sarah Spencer
Founding Director
I am diagnosed autistic and ADHD. All 6 of my children are diagnosed autistic, ADHD or both. My eldest is in his late twenties, so I have been living in the SEN world, as a parent, for a long time. My journey hasn’t been an easy one and so my aim is to make that road a little easier for other neurodivergent families. I have ran ADHD allies for several years and also have a diploma in ADHD and am passionate about debunking the myths and stigma that surrounds it.
Rosemarie Sallufi
Supporting Director
I am a parent of a teenage son who is diagnosed as being autistic and ADHD. So I have been in the SEND world for a while. Whilst I am not diagnosed officially myself, Lisa and Sarah say that their ADHD radar beeps erratically whenever I am near! I am very passionate about supporting parents and work for the PCV. I love ensuring parents voices are heard and you will often find me down a rabbit hole researching and updating my knowledge.
Keera-Mae Clarke
Young Persons Representative
Hi, I’m Keera and I am the young persons respresentative at Super Sen CIC. This means everything I do has the young people of the community in mind. My goal is to ensure that professionals and adults listen to young people’s voices. The youth of today are the future of tomorrow so it’s important that we empower our young people to be proud of who they are and advocate for themselves. I run Super Sensory Seekers for children aged 0-5 years and a Roblox group chat for young people of any age.
